In 1965, Mr. Skaggs built L.S. Skaggs Hall in honor of his father, so that the College of Pharmacy could move out of the women's gymnasium and have their own home. The College went from being unranked, to be ranked #1 in 10 years. Over the years, the College has been so successful and grown so much that 4 departments are scattered all over campus. Mr. Skaggs' continued philanthropy is once again bringing all the departments together by building a new facility that will connect L.S. Skaggs Hall with an atrium and become The L.S. Skaggs Pharmacy Institute, standing together like father and son. The tribute video Tuff Cookie produced was the center piece for this very special ground-breaking event.
